Professional of the Financial Sector (PFS)
The Luxembourg government has established a specific legislation applying to services providers that deals outsourcing activities or delivers operational services including accessing confidential data on behalf of a financial institution.
The PFS (Professional of the Financial Sector) status ensures that ebrc is regulated and supervised by the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) in order to reduce operational risks and confidentiality breaches.
This specific status is granted for the following activities:
- Operator of Primary IT Systems (OSIP)
- Administrative Agent for the financial sector
- Client Communication Agent
