Green

ebrc's initiative for a sustainable future

Aware of energy efficiency, ebrc is engaged, as Participant, in the European Code of Conduct for Data Centres.
As member of The Green Grid, we have taken up the challenge of implementing standards to measure the efficiency of both the facility and the IT equipment of our Data Centres.
The ISO 14001 certification provides a tries and proven framwork for dentifying and tracking regulatory compliance issues related to the environmental management system. This certification covers all activities concerning management of Datacenter services, Managed services, Business Continuity services and Consulting services.

Green Data Centres

Energy consumption represents the first cost center of a Data Centre. Energy budgets are estimated between 30 to 40% of the total IT expenses. Tomorrow, it may be increased by over 50% partly because of the growing data flows, system needs and server consumption.

In a world demanding more and more power for any activity, we aim at implementing solutions as green as possible, to save money as well as preserve the environment.

Pioneer of the environment preservation in Luxembourg, ebrc latest Data Centres are operated with 100% green energy.

With its high experience, ebrc has designed its datacenters so as to use space and energy efficiently: cooling systems sparing as much energy as possible, power consumption measurement to avoid energy losses and regular audits of every system.

Furthermore, ebrc promotes virtualisation as a mean to reduce the environmental impact of IT systems.
