European Commission’s Code of Conduct Participant Award 2011 – Existing Data Centre category

• This award testifies that ebrc is committed to following the best practices defined by the European Commission.
• 106 European Data Centres as Participants to the European Code of Conduct were racing for this award.
• The European Commission’s Code of Conduct (COC) on Data Centre’s Energy Efficiency is a voluntary code that organisations can endorse, committing them to implement measures to reduce energy consumption.
• The code is now established as the definitive industry practice for reducing carbon emissions by Data Centres and has been widely adopted by more than 122 endorsers.
• The European Commission’s Code of Conduct (COC) created special awards to recognise Data Centre operators who have demonstrated exceptional implementation of the code in their facilities.
